"Well, well, the six of you were the easiest," Aegis says, and I put up a head, groaning at his intrusion.

"Get out of here, you voyeur," I say, only half meaning it. The dude is hot after all.

"I kind of like when he watches," Quill says. "Let him stay, Drake. The more dragons, the merrier."

As long as Quill is all mine.

Our dragonheart told us she wanted to go on vacation, at the same time as Gentry and Sterling's, And Trevor's mate. Isabella, Chadwick's mate, ended up going back to the fae world. She just didn't fit in here.

So Aegis called us up, letting us know our mates had been lying, and instead of a vacation, they had secretly taken part in a government experiment. One that had been fatal.

It was a bit sad, but dragons move on quickly when a mate has broken a bond, especially through betrayal.

And the thing is, each pair of us already had something so special when the women came along. We never really needed anything but each other. That was always good enough.

I've always been protective of Quill, and sharing a woman was always just an excuse to get him naked. Why didn't anyone tell us it was okay to just be with and love each other? That excuse for an oracle is in trouble with all of us, if she ever shows her face again.

Clearly, she just wanted to force us to be part of government experiments.

Chadwick and Trevor have been extra sweet, bonding and talking as they've been making love, whereas I'm giving it to Quill rough and hard, nothing between us, the way I always wanted it.

His beautiful, feminine body flexes as his asshole tightens around me. The best thing in the world.

And Gentry and Sterling, well, they were already the gayest. Holding each other all night to cope with Gentry's visions.

"I didn't even have to do anything," Aegis says, to Citrine, who has just entered the room. "They all just...started going at it."

"Dragons are magic together," Citrine says. "Everyone else just needs to get out of their way. It's just what they do. Love fiercely and openly. And I've been studying ancient records. All of the dragon planets are gay. There are no female dragons. Just dragons they dress up as female or who have both parts through some freak mutation."

"That makes sense," Aegis says. "What about Marina?"

"She's a sea monster," Citrine says.

"Alright, the air is getting to me," Aegis says. "He pushes Citrine in against the wall. "Let's do it while they do."

"Aegis," Citrine says, but he gives in nearly instantly.

I come, before Quill, but he comes just after, like looking at my face in ecstasy sets him off. I'm holding him, cooing at him, running my hands through his gorgeous black hair with blue highlights, as I hear Gentry cry out, 'Oh Sterling', and Sterling responds, 'Gentry, I love you'.

"It should have always been us," I hear Trevor say to Chadwick. Then Chadwick lets out a long moan, and the two of them come as well, purple and gold energy joining the rest of us.

And it feels like sunlight filling the room, as Aegis begins to make love to Citrine.

Gods, it's hot to watch. I can see why Aegis loves to do it.

Love is love, and as the six of us hold each other and watch Aegis and Citrine, I know we'll all be stronger as a result.

Nothing will ever come between us, no one can tell us we need anything else to be complete.

We can finally be at peace, together.

Just us and our gay dragon mates.

"I love you," I tell Quill, holding his hand and pulling him in against me.

"I love you," he says back, and my heart feels whole just at his words.

As Aegis and Citrine finish in the corner, my mate rolls over me, ready to start again.

What can I say? I think I'll always be desired by this dragon. And him by me.
